Description of library facilities: University libraries is coordinated nextwork of individual libraries including Law Library and a Medical Library;Our nationally recognized Information Arcade in the Main Library, and the Information Commons in the Hardin Library for the Health Sciences, offer expert consultation and state-of-the-art computer hardware and software to help students and faculty integrate new media technologies in their teaching, learning, and research.For those resources not available locally, the Libraries has access to the impressive collections of the other Big 10 universities and the University of Chicago through the CIC consortium. Some of the Library collections include the Iowa Women's Archives, John Martin Rare Book Room,Iowa Authors.
