Alianza: The Alianza Society celebrates Latino culture and experience through programs, workshops, and lectures that focus on Latino heritage, address socio-political issues that impact the Latino community, and raise awareness about issues of tolerance. 2. Diversity Coalition: The primary goal of the Diversity Coalition is to encourage open dialogue, educational opportunity, and the chance to celebrate diversity in all human culture and experience. The Diversity Coalition serves to educate and promote awareness of issues such as gender, race, religion, and ethnicity. 3. ISAC: The International Student Affairs Committee of the Student Association has the responsibility to provide student activities and programming for the campus that celebrate and unify the many diverse cultures on campus. 4. Martin Luther King, Jr. Society: The MLK Society is an inter-racial group dedicated to promoting the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by hosting and sponsoring programs, lectures, and workshops, including the annual Martin Luther King convocation on January 20th.
